Our Journey
Company Foundation
PT Geo Tekno Globalindo was officially established in 2017. With strategic partnership, it begins from vessel tracking and L-Band networks to support domestic vessel operations in Indonesia.
Establishment of IoT Division
Geotekno begins the IoT business division to expand and upgrade the existing customer base for telematic system implementations. Being one of the first company in Indonesia focused on true vessel IoT.
Establishment of Satellite Network Division
Through strategic partnership and distributorship, Geotekno begins a new business division to develop business on the latest Ku-Band satellite communication system at the time.
Marine Fuel Monitoring System
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, fuel prices were surging. Awareness and growing demand of Satellite Surveillance and IoT based fuel monitoring system marks significant growth for Geotekno.
Inmarsat Partnership & FMS Improvement
Geotekno builds strategic partnership with Inmarsat for GMDSS equipments, and despite the high inflation, Indonesia's marine industry experiences strong growth, and the FMS market continues to grow.
Official Distributor of JRC & Network Expansion
Geotekno partnered with JRC with focus on radio system. Indonesia shipbuilding grew significantly in 2023, and through stricter charter regulations; satcom surveillance & safety grew significantly.
Official Distributor of Garmin & Navigation Division
Geotekno signed official distributorship with Garmin Marine, building the commercial vessel market. With this partnership, the marine navigation business division was established.
